Sonny Romero Inaugural Memorial Golf Tournament – July 23rd, 2021 – Lakewood Golf Club
Our 1st Annual Sonny Romero Memorial Golf Classic will be at Lakewood Country Club Golf Course in New Orleans on Friday, July 23rd, 2021.
The tournament provides the opportunity for Kiwanians, friends, family and supporters to have a great time and to financially support the many community service projects of the Dawn Busters Kiwanis Club through your contributions to the Dawn Busters of Metairie Kiwanis Foundation or Reading For Life Foundation or both. A 501c(3) – Tax Exempt Entity Non-Profit.
The four-person scramble format offers a competitive tournament and is limited to the first paid 144 players. There will be Hole-In-One prizes on all Par 3’s, including a chance for each golfer to win $25,000. Participants receive a player appreciation bag, a door prize, beverages all day and food from over 20+ local chefs & restaurants.
While the tournament itself offers outstanding competition and good fellowship, the highlight for many participants is the evening Social and Awards Ceremony following the Round of Golf. The Ceremony is an informal time of fun and recognition for participants. Many wonderful door prizes, auction and awards will be available for those in attendance.
You may sign up alone or get a team together. If you do not sign up a four-person team, we will pair you with other entrants.
