DESCRIPTION:Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy – Celebrity Waiter\nWhat IS Celebrity Waiter? \nCelebrity Waiter is the primary fundraiser for the Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center.  The event has been held since 2006\, working to raise funds to help provide the services the BRCAC offers to child abuse victims and their families. Some of our first “celebrity waiters” included TV personalities\, LSU sports icons\, politicians\, and other familiar faces from the community. We have since been privileged to have many local celebrities who come to compete for tips and bragging rights while raising money for a great cause! \nSome highlights of the event include: \n\nThe tip competition between the Celebrity Waiters\nA silent auction with 100+ items (including autographed memorabilia\, sports packages\, jewelry)\nA live auction with unique experiences you will want to bid on!\n\nOur mission is to help children and their families on their path of healing by providing trauma-informed\, child-focused services in the aftermath of physical abuse\, sexual abuse or a violent crime. We serve the parishes of East Baton Rouge\, West Baton Rouge\, Iberville and Pointe Coupee. \nPlease help us continue our mission by bidding on our auction items or by making a donation. \nThe online auction will close at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday\, July 17\, 2024. \nThank you for your continued support!
